Terms & Conditions.

Important information, Please Read.

1. Delivery - Any lead times given for beds & mattresses are just an approximation and cannot be guaranteed due to unforeseen circumstances. Space Saving Beds cannot accept responsibility for being unable to deliver or for late, mistimed deliveries or for any costs incurred. You are not entitled to claim damages or cancel the order if we are unable to deliver on the pre-arranged dates. We will accept no responsibility for goods once they have been delivered to and signed for at the requested address. Free delivery for mattresses, folding guest beds & DIY Wall beds is to most of the mainland UK only (excluding highlands & islands).

2. Delivery & Installations - It is the customers responsibility to check the dimensions of the room, suitability of the walls and floor and the access to the property to ensure that the bed can be installed in the required location without any obstructions e.g. incorrect dimensions, unsuitable walls, radiators, sockets, pipes, tight doorways & corners or low ceilings or any other unforeseen obstructions. If we are unable to deliver or install the customer's bed due to any of the reasons stated above then this may result in the loss of all or part of the payment. We can not accept responsibility for beds installed by a third party, if our beds are installed incorrectly by a third party and Space Saving Beds Ltd have to be called out a charge will be applicable.

3. Safety - The Hidden and Foldaway beds must be fitted by a professional and it is essential that these beds are fixed direct to brick, breezeblock or concrete or some form of solid structure. These beds should not be mounted on plasterboard or similar & should not be mounted on a floating floor or similar. We can not accept responsibility for beds installed by a third party and it is the customer's responsibility to assess the suitability of the walls and floor. Suitable fixings must be used. We can not be held responsible for any wall re-enforcements or building work carried out by a third party. Beds should not be operated by children or misused, we recommend that high sleeper beds should not be used by children under 6 years of age. Wall fixings should be checked regularly by the customer and any potential issues should be investigated by a professional.

4. Returns - Mattresses - Faulty or damaged mattresses will be replaced with un faulty or undamaged ones. Mattresses can only be returned if packaging remains unopened for hygiene & decontamination reasons, and we must be notified within 7 days of the customer receiving the item. Mattresses can be returned under these terms for any reason within the 7 days of receiving the item at the customers own cost and a refund will be given. Mattresses which are made to order, specially made or made to a non standard or special size at the customers request cannot be returned under any circumstances. Specially made replacement mattresses for folding beds or folding sofa beds etc.. can not be returned if the customer finds that it is not suitable for any reason, we recommend that the customer takes great care when selecting the correct length, width and depth.

Folding Guest Beds & DIY Wall Beds - Faulty or damaged beds and mattresses will be replaced with un faulty or undamaged beds or mattresses or any damaged parts will be replaced. Goods can be returned unopened, unused, undamaged and in as new condition and we must be notified within 7 days of the customer receiving the item. Items can be returned under these terms for any reason within the 7 days of receiving the item at the customers own cost and a refund will be given. Made to order folding guest beds cannot be returned under any circumstances.

Made to Order Beds - Most of our beds are made to order, faulty or damaged beds will be replaced with un faulty or undamaged beds or any damaged parts will be replaced.Space Saving Beds cannot accept returns for made to order, specially made or special order beds under any circumstances.

5. Faulty/Damaged goods - It is the customers responsibility to check the consignment, and if any incorrect or damaged goods are supplied or items are missing you must notify us within 24hrs of delivery and furthermore give notice in writing to the company within 7 working days after the date of delivery/collection. We will then be able to replace the faulty/damaged goods. Failure to do so will mean that the goods shall be deemed to have been delivered/collected undamaged and in accordance with the delivery documents. After this period, a charge for replacements may be made if required. Faulty goods must be returned and inspected before replacements are dispatched.

6. Guarantee - All of our beds come with a Limited 2 YEAR warranty on manufacturers defects. This guarantee does not apply to faults caused by accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, or damage by misapplication, or to beds which have been installed incorrectly by a third party.

7. Deposit - A 50% deposit is required to process all orders. (excluding folding guest beds, DIY Wall beds & mattresses). Once Space Saving Beds Ltd have received this payment we will then process the order. Cancellation of made to order items may result in the loss of all or part of the deposit.

8. Remaining Balance - The remaining balance for the goods is to be paid on the agreed date specified. If goods need to be held for long periods we reserve the right to ask for the remaining balance.

9. Who owns the goods - Title of goods remain the property of Space Saving Beds Ltd until the payment has been received in full. Until that time, we may recover the goods at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability - While we use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information we place on the website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy. We make no warranty that the website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, reliability of the website. This does not affect your statutory rights. Please note that we practice a policy of continual review and reserve the right to change the above terms and conditions at any time. We, us, our refers to Space Saving Beds Ltd.

11. Quotes - Any quotes given are valid for one month unless otherwise stated, after this time the quote will need to be revised or re-quoted. Quotes are subject to change at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or errors.

12. Offers - Offers may be withdrawn at any time. Offers are for selected beds only. Offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer unless stated. Terms and conditions apply. Best Price Promise only applies to products showing the price promise logo. Best Price Promise is not valid after the order is placed. Best Price Promise -Prices must be like for like - eg. Same model, Brand new, Advertised, Total price including delivery & not part of any other offer or undersold. *Delivery - Best Price Promise does not include delivery to some destinations including Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland & Islands.
